Who is your target market and do you speak their language

November 28, 2016 by Mobile Beat

We’ve talked about you learning who your audience is and how to reach out and engage with them, are targetmarketyou really speaking to them? As a DJ you must connect to the target audience as well as their friends and family, that’s a pretty diverse group. How do you know what you’ve been doing is working? This is a great time to go through your analytics for your platforms to see what is working or what you can change up to properly connect with your audience. This is a perfect example of why you need a page on Facebook and not just a personal profile, they will give you reports to review for everything you post. You can go to https://analytics.twitter.com/ about to see how your twitter account is doing and will offer great feedback on who is interacting with your account and who you are reaching out to. If you have a website, you can also use https://www.google.com/analytics/#?modal_active=none to get more free information to ensure you find what is working and create more of that content.

When you are looking to connect and really ensure that you have the right message, research industry people, venues, groups and pages from that genre and see what they are sharing, how they are sharing and what words, videos, pictures and overall content they are using. Follow them, support and share them and use their content to inspire you for future posting. How is this info working for you? Let me know your thoughts, and as always:
