Cumberland, RI, USA – September 13, 2014. Numark (, the world’s leading innovator of DJ solutions, will be offering an advance look at the new NDX500 USB/CD Media Player and Software Controller at the upcoming 2014 BPM Show to be held in Birmingham, England.

Completely self-contained, the Numark NDX500 allows the modern DJ to instantly play and access music from nearly any digital audio source—CDs, USB flash drives, and MP3 files on CD. In addition, the NDX500 also offers a built-in USB Audio interface, providing the ability to play audio files directly from any PC or Mac computer. Best of all, the NDX500 delivers an unprecedented level of USB-MIDI software control integration with nearly any computer-based DJ software, including custom controller mapping for Serato DJ.ndx

NDX500’s built-in CD player offers Numark Anti-Shock™ buffered skip protection technology for a flawless performance. Plus, the text-based display makes it simple to find the right song or file on any USB flash drive. Real-time performance features—including the touch-sensitive scratch wheel—maximize the DJ’s abilities. The Auto-BPM circuitry allows for Tap-Tempo overrides. Tracks can be pitch-shifted up or down, while the Master Tempo keeps the beat. Hot Cue buttons access key points instantly. Plus there are controls to emulate vinyl-style braking, as well as tools for convenient loop creation.

“The NDX500 is a powerful and versatile solution for the DJ in search of quality and capability,” says Karl Detken, Director of Marketing, Numark. “NDX500 allows users to move to the controller world while still offering thumb drive and CD playback support.
