We finish this series with how I ended my email and the outcome of the event itself. 

Finally I gave her our 2 goals that we have for any event we partner with a couple on. After that I said this “If that sounds like what you are looking for then I would recommend a time to have a virtual chat with us and see how we can help you further, or if you want to be sure you don’t lose your date feel free to call me and we can work out the rest of the details. Ultimately, brides hire us to take responsibility for the success of their wedding day so they can relax and enjoy it.  It’s what we do best…that and provide GREAT memories.

Her response was this: Mitch, Our wedding will be at the Masonic in MQT. We currently live in Madison, WI. We have lots of family friends in both Marquette and in Escanaba. We will be in Esky briefly this weekend. Would there be any possibility in meeting with you Friday morning at all? I know it is short notice but we’re not up that way too often. Please let me know what you think. 

At that point I setup a meeting with her for Friday morning and after meeting she had a contract pending for her date. Fast forward to the end of her event and she not only booked DJ & MC services, but also lighting and ceremony sound and coordination with us.  Her review went on and raved about becoming friends with our team and how we made their day exceptional.  Proof that you CAN in fact convert price into a meeting, then into a booking and ultimately raving fans who refer their friends.
