Hey DJ! You Can Be A Star But You’ve Got to Act Fast!

Hey DJ! You Can Be A Star But You’ve Got to Act Fast! I’m working on a video for my MBLV presentation in February, “Hey DJ! Get Off My Lawn!”

Whether you plan to attend MBLV17 or not, I could really use your help with an exciting video project that will open my presentation. The video will be a circle of DJ life celebration that features a photo montage of DJs of all ages, from young to…well you get the idea.

It will take one hundred photos to pull off this incredible video project I’d love to include yours. Here are the three things I need if you’d like to help me out:

1. A headshot or of you in action (Make sure your face is clearly visible). It needs to be high-res, so please DON’T send a Facebook photo. I may edit for size!

2. Please include your name, company name and age. This info will be displayed with your photo. (Note: The video is not a lampoon and no additional comments will be added to your photo!)

3. Email your photo to ron@ronruthweddings.com by Friday, January 10, 2013. Emailing your photo to me is also your permission for it to be included in the video.

Special Note: Our industry has, unfortunately, lost a number of very creative and talented DJs over the past year. These individuals are still with us in spirit and deserve recognition. I’d like to include as many of those wonderful people as I can in the video. If you have a photo of you with one of our deceased colleagues, please send it along with their name and date of passing.

That’s it! The video is going to be awesome but only if I can include your photo!! Thanks so much for your assistance. A copy of the video will be posted for everyone to see, especially those who couldn’t make it, after my MBLV17 presentation at noon on Monday, February 4th.
