GripnGaff® releases new Jumbo bag for DJs and Musicians

February 12, 2016 by Mobile Beat

Mobile DJs, musicians, audio techs, roadies, and others who need to load in large bulky items like backdrops, PA speaker stands, transport-with-ease-scenekeyboards, guitars, etc., have a new solution – the GripnGaff® Jumbo Bag.

The Jumbo fits on the handles of most RocknRoller® multi-carts (R8RT, R10RT, R12RT, R14RT, R16RT, R18RT and the original RocknRoller with the red and gray color scheme). Made from the same awesomely sturdy 1000 denier ballistic nylon as other GripnGaff® bags, the Jumbo is 16 inches in diameter, compared to 12 inches for other models. The Jumbo bag is the only bag in our lineup that does not use a hard plastic bottom, since it is designed to hold items that don’t have sharp pointed ends.

The GripnGaff® bag is designed by professional Director of Photography, Jay Olivier. Jay has been shooting for broadcast, commercial and high end corporate clients for over 30 years and has been loading ridiculous amounts of equipment into buildings for all that time. “Like many of my peers, I use RocknRoller® multi-carts to get the gear in, but always had a problem loading c-stands, tripods and other long hard items through doors and into elevators. So I designed the GripnGaff® bag to solve the problem,” says Jay. “Over the past two years, I’ve added models to fit all RocknRoller® carts plus the Kartmaster HD 500 and the Magliner Jr carts used by many audio techs. Each bag model is designed to work perfectly with the cart it is paired with, including the use of shelves with the bag on the cart.”
