Gemini’s CDJ-700 Revolutionizes Tabletop CDJ Media Players

Anaheim, CA – January 19, 2012 Gemini, an esteemed manufacturer of DJ and Pro Audio equipment, is pleased to exhibit the CDJ-700, a professional DJ media player that boasts the industry’s first full-color touchscreen display. Gemini will give NAMM attendees a chance to see their new flagship product and take it for a test spin at Booth 5700.

The CDJ-700’s 3.5-inch TFT touchscreen allows users to navigate tracks, adjust tempo and set effect values using the same intuitive controls found on popular smart phones and tablets. And for professional song manipulation, the CDJ-700 features an 8-inch touch-sensitive jog wheel with LCD display, DSP-powered effects, programmable Hot Cues, variable Pitch Control and MIDI capabilities for use as a software controller.

Because of the incredible variety of modern media, DJs can’t be restricted to a single format. That’s why the unit offers exceptional flexibility, with playback support for CDs, SD cards and USB memory devices in a variety of file formats.

“The CDJ-700 is Gemini’s most powerful, versatile and comprehensive media player to date,” says Alan Cabasso, President of Gemini. “All features – from the touchscreen and jog wheel to the soundcard and playback capabilities – indicate professional performance and innovative design. It’s truly a leap forward for Gemini’s CDJ products.”

Since 1974, Gemini has designed products that offer value and innovation in the DJ and Pro Audio markets. Today, their portfolio continues to develop in scope and diversity, providing gear for DJs, musicians, engineers, professional installers and general music enthusiasts around the globe. From CDJ media players and digital controllers, to high-quality mixers, monitors and loudspeakers, Gemini has built a legacy with passion for innovation and devotion to their customers.
