Extroverts Have Feelings Too Part 1

October 22, 2019 by Mitch Taylor

Extroverts have feelings too. If you’ve followed me for any length of time you may know that Vickie Musni, a certified Personality Trainer and I produced a podcast together.  I’ve learned A TON from Vickie over the years regarding personalities, how to handle them both internally and externally, and how to understand what makes you tick, and the most important people in your life so you can communicate with them more effectively.

You also may classify me in a very basic way as an extrovert.  Now just because someone is an extrovert doesn’t mean that they don’t have feelings too.  People with strong personalities that you meet may seem to have a tough exterior, or they may come across as very abrasive sometimes. I think it’s important to understand that everyone is going through things in life.  We all have our own challenges. You truly DON’T KNOW what someone else is going through in their life.

What prompted me to write this?  Recently I encountered a very stressful situation in business JUST before I was going to go on an epic vacation with friends.  Due to the stress I was under and even with me being in an exotic locale, I blew up at my longtime friends. :(. It wasn’t good, I look back on that and think “Why did I do that?  I’m the guy that’s learned so much about personalities and conducted workshops with a Personality Trainer.” Proof that no matter how much you think you know, the proof is in the practice of the concepts.
