Don’t Project Your Views Part 1

Dont Project Your Views Taylored Sales Mitch TaylorIt’s the turn of the year…and time for some, as Jason Jani would say, REAL TALK.  Good or bad, I wear my heart and my emotions on my sleeve. I at times find myself taking out frustration or anger on my wife and kids, even when I should really be mad at myself for the situation and not at them of course.  What I need to realize is that these are my own issues, that I may be upset with myself for something in a situation and that’s what I’m upset about is my inability to handle it how it should be handled. If you’re angry, you’re going to attract other angry people.

How you act and react is who you attract.  You need to take each moment as it comes, and appreciate what life has to offer for us. We need to give as much as we possibly can give of ourselves to the people that we care about the most people we love.  Ego can be a relationship killer. When you project your views on someone else that doesn’t deserve it, you do not own your own stuff…if you will. Ego keeps you from owning your own issues. I encourage you to face your fear whatever that might be. Face your issues.

There’s an old saying…”Anyone driving slower than you is an idiot. Anyone driving faster than you is an idiot.  In the DJ world, it’s anyone charging more than you is an idiot. Anyone charging less than you is an idiot. It’s just fascinating how our ego prevents us from enjoying moments and opening our minds.. Our ego prevents us from owning our own issues and not projecting our views onto others.  What’s the one thing that can stop your ego?
