LOS ANGELES – (For Immediate Release) – One of the best ways to add texture and a professional look to your visual presentation is through the creative use of “spotting.” With tightly focused pinspots, you can immediately shine attention on anything at a gig or venue — from a wedding cake, to performers on stage, to scenic elements in a room.

Now ADJ has introduced the ultimate spotting tool– the TRIBAR Spot LED pinspot system. Ideal for DJs, clubs and mobile entertainers, this lightweight portable system consists of 6 pinspot heads, each powered by a 5-watt Tri-Color RGB LED. In addition to producing a brilliant beam of color, each of the heads features a tight 12° beam angle, to create the “perfect spot.”

Each of the pinspots in the TRIBAR Spot system also includes 0-100% dimming, strobing, and 32 built-in color macros. Perhaps most impressively, these features can be controlled individually on each head via DMX, giving you the ability to create different spotting effects simultaneously in different areas of the room.

“Pinspotting is a great way to add a little extra flourish to your show – whether it’s spotting a bride and groom at a wedding, a corporate logo on a wall, or an area of a stage that you want to draw attention to,” said Alfred Gonzales, national sales manage for ADJ Products. “With 6 individually-controllable heads, the TRIBAR Spot system was designed to give users a lot of versatility in spotting.

“You can beam all of the pinspots on the dance floor, or position them so that they shine on individual tables. You can create a sophisticated look with beams of static color, or you can ramp up the excitement by switching on the TRIBAR Spot’s strobe and pulse effect or Sound Active mode. This all-in-one pinspot system will open a lot of new creative possibilities for using spotting to achieve a more exciting, dramatic and professional lighting environment.”

In addition to offering 7 different DMX channel operation modes, the TRIBAR Spot can be controlled manually in Auto (Program Run), Sound Active, and Static Color modes. When in Auto and Sound Active modes, it will run to its own built-in programs. The TRIBAR Spot is also compatible with the ADJ LED RC wireless remote controller (sold separately) for easy cordless control. To cover larger areas, up to 25 TRIBAR Spot systems can be linked together via 3-pin XLR cable and power cable.

The 6 pinspots in the TRIBAR Spot system come mounted on their own bar, which itself may be either hung from truss or floor-mounted on a tripod stand (sold separately). The heads are designed to be positioned manually by the user at the desired angles for spotting.

In addition to being a versatile multi-purpose spotting system, the TRIBAR Spot is easy to use and maintenance-free. A convenient 4-button LED display menu on the rear panel guides users through the unit’s settings. The system’s flicker-free LEDs draw very little power (40 watts maximum for the entire system), and will run for 50,000 hours without replacement. Since the system generates very little heat, no cooling fan is required.

With the entire system weighing just 11 lbs./ 4.9 kg., the TRIBAR Spot is perfect for mobile use. Its dimensions are 31.5”L x 3.75”W x 9.25”H/ 800 x 90 x 230mm. It features multi-voltage operation: AC100-240V, 50/60Hz.

The MSRP of the TRIBAR System is $419.95.
