“Top 30” school safe songs- New: 2 great & 2 trash

October 16, 2010 by Ric Hansen

Added this week, an artist that makes Justin Beiber look like an old man.   Willow Smith, 9 years old and the daughter of Will Smith has a hit song that is being added to the playlists of both Mainstream and Rhythmic “To 40”.  It debuts on the Safe Songs Top 30 at # 30 and surprise…..it needs no edits!  Also added, Pink’s hot new song “Raise your Glass”.  You will need to take a couple of snips on this one or buy the edited version.

We have also added to new songs to the DO NOT PLAY list.  Kanye West’s “Runaway”.  So filled with trash that the clean edits I have heard make it sound almost like an instrumental so much has been chopped. I say pass.  Also New Boyz “Spot Right There” can’t edit the fact that the “spot” is yes that spot…it is a content issue, not a language issue.  Watch for a New Lady Gaga single…according to Sirius radio it was leaked on the internet this week before release and it sounded just like her… it will be hot, right out of the box.
