The TNT Educational Tour with Larry Williams

June 5, 2008 by Mobile Beat

An explosion of education will soon ignite the areas of Tennessee and Texas as Mobile Beat staff writer and ProDJ Publishing author Larry Williams hits the road this month for three highly anticipated seminar stops. For the past two years Williams’ seminar “Changing Public Perception:” has toured the nation and even broke attendance records in many of the regional locations it has been presented. In his latest installment “Solutions That Impact Your Bottom Line”, Williams offers a detailed disertation that breaks down the many nuances that affect consumer perceptions of our profession. The topic points discussed are ground-breaking and very unique for the DJ industry. Expect a powerfully visual presentation that includes numerous video clips that relate to consumer perceptions. Attendees will enjoy a menu of image-related corrective measures that will have an immediate impact upon your ability to build a better rapport with your customers.

The first stop will be on June 23rd at the Appalachian Regional Mobile DJ Symposium (A.R.M.D.J.S.) in Greeneville, Tennessee. This event will feature an incredible line-up of highly regarded industry leaders who will each offer exceptional educational seminars. In addition to Williams’, this full day of seminars will also include ADJA President and Executive Director, DJ Dr. Drax who will discuss exciting ways to help DJs build and grow their business. This symposium will also mark the long awaited return of Scott Faver. The Game Master will discuss marketing and the latest in interactive games. Jim Cerone (who will appear at Mobile Beat Chicago in July) will be on-hand to present his seminar “Being The Perfect Host”. The day will conclude with nationally renown industry leader Mark Ferrell who will present “Getting What You’re Worth – Reloaded”. The following days, June 24th and June 25th, will find Larry Williams and ADJA Executive Director DJ Dr. Drax traveling to Houston and Dallas Texas for two evenings of educational seminars, networking and camaraderie. These tour stops, sponsored by the Houston and Dallas/Fort Worth Chapters of the ADJA, represent the continuance of a year-long effort by the national office of the ADJA to tour each chapter within its organization. “The timing couldn’t be better!” Williams states. “I am really excited to participate in this three-day swing through Tennessee and Texas. I am constantly surprised with what started as a series of articles for Mobile Beat Magazine, has now become a movement within the DJ industry. These days, many DJs are experiencing some tough times with their businesses. I am honored to have been selected to provide the spark that ignites these entrepreneurs to take their business to the next level.” All three tour stops are open to area DJs. Attendees are encouraged to contact the various representatives for each area as space is limited and pre-registration is often suggested.
