Spinnin’ 2000 Available For Free

Billed as “The Ultimate Guide To Fun And Profit As A Mobile DJ”, Robert Lindquist’s classic book Spinnin 2000 has been released to the public at the DJWiki at Start.ProDJ.Com. It will be used to kickstart the DJWiki project with some credible material.What is DJWiki? Similar to Wikipedia, the biggest online user-contributed free-content encyclopedia on the Internet, ProDJ Publishing announced earlier this year the launch of a very extensive project for the DJ industry that will never be completed! The DJWiki encyclopedia is being built by the DJ community at Start.ProDJ.Com, tied into the various resources related to ProDJ.Com-The Internet’s Source For DJs.

Spinnin, released in 1987,and the update Spinnin 2000, released in 1990, was the first professionally produced nationally distributed book for the mobile disc jockey industry and led Robert Lindquist, its author, to the creation of Mobile Beat Magazine with his partner Michael Buonaccorso in 1991. A future edition of the book is being worked on by Mr. Buonaccorso with expected release in 2009.
