School Dance Safe Songs (Jan 24-2013)

January 24, 2013 by Ric Hansen

School Dance NetworkI am excited to meet up with many of our School Dance Network member DJs at MBLV 17 in a couple of weeks.  I am anxious to get input and share ideas about how this network of responsible DJs can grow in the coming year.  We now have literally thousands of schools as subscribers and I am getting continual feedback from DJs on how their membership has helped endear them to school administrators and how it has given them some great tools to make their dances safe and age appropriate.  If you are not a member yet you can find out more at the School Dance Network and click on “Responsible DJs”.

Safe Songs TOP 30 for January 24 2013

The hottest newcomer to the list is by far the new Justin Timberlake; “Suit and Tie” just in time for formal season this spring.   By the way the hottest new slow song for school dances is Bruno Mars “When I Was Your Man” …it’s the classic sad break up song.  I’ve included it on the front page of the site if you want to take a listen.

Also, my pick to click this week is the new Nelly song “Hey Porsche”.  It sounds like a love song..and it is….but to a CAR!  I’ve also included that to click and listen on the front page.
