June 13, 2013 by Ric Hansen

School dance network stacked-green smAs the school dance season winds down, summer parties ramp up.   Sweet 16′s, Graduation parties, 13th birthdays, pool parties, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, and family reunions.  It is an important time to keep on top of the safe music that good is for general audiences.  Here is your first of the summer SAFE SONGS LIST.  We also have 4 additions to the DO NOT PLAY list.  Make sure to check that out as well.    The fastest growing songs this week is the new Robin Thicke “Blurred lines” and a song by Techno-producer ZEDD with his song Clarity.  There are a couple of other big songs this week, that are not on the dance list because they are not necessarily great dance songs, but are very solid hits, if you are looking for fillers, these work.  ”Radioactive”- Imagine Dragon’s follow up song and the third out from Macklemore “Same Love”  (a song about equal rights and respect for same sex partners)  Until next time…have fun and happy partying.  Join the elite group of responsible DJs now and get all the great scoop and helpful hints on school dances.  Click here.New Responsible DJ logo copy
