San Gabriel, CA – June 6, 2012 – Odyssey Innovative Designs (Odyssey), a leading design and manufacturer of cases and accessories for the audio market, is excited to introduce an additional new brand and will continue to carry it’s tagline of “leading through innovation” and “Innovative Designs.”
Since the company’s inception in 1995, Odyssey has consistently incorporated the “Odyssey” word mark in all versions of the brand logo over the years. Derived from the company’s legacy, the additional new brand logo utilizes a shortened word mark “ODY-USA,” emphasizing its American-based operation. The purpose of the company’s additional branding is to denote a new higher standard in quality and design, but more importantly, to protect the integrity of its products by differentiating itself from the numerous trademark infringers and counterfeiters.
Odyssey’s success over the years has stimulated a number of Odyssey look-alike products, technology copycats, and even outright brand imitators.As a result, a series of powerful and successful lawsuits enforcing Odyssey’s patents, trademarks, and related intellectual property rights ensued.
