New Antari DNG-200 Low-Lying Fogger From Elation Is Self-Contained Unit With No Dry Ice Required

LOS ANGELES – Elation Professional has introduced a convenient low-lying fog effect machine that doesn””t require dry ice or any connections to external units. The company””s new Antari DNG-200 Low Fog Generator is an easy-to-use, self-contained unit that produces a continuous output of low-lying fog while running on X-Fog Ice fog fluid.

Featuring a high-quality 3M fog conducting hose, the DNG-200 creates low-lying fog straight from its nozzle, just like a regular fog machine. With no CO2 installation to hassle with, the DMX-controllable DNG-200 is extremely operator-friendly, making it a great ground fog effect solution for theatrical, studio and production applications — wherever a blast of even, smooth low-hanging fog is needed.

“Until now, most low-lying fog machines had to use dry ice to generate fog that stays close to the ground,” said Eric Loader, director of sales for Elation Professional, the exclusive distributor for Antari products in North America. “Another alternative was to buy a ””fog chiller”” machine that hooked up to your regular fogger and converted its output to ground-type fog. The DNG-200 eliminates both the inconvenience of messy dry ice and the extra step of external connections. Just plug it in and operate it like a regular fog machine, and it will produce high-quality low-lying fog that is indistinguishable from the effect created by dry ice.”

Built to Antari””s world-class standards, the DNG-200 features a powerful compressor and aluminum heater block, allowing it to produce continuous, non-stop fog at a rate of 40,000 cubic feet per minute. Operators can select from 3 variable outputs, ranging from a wispy cloud to thick “pea soup” fog. Both the volume and timing of fog output can be controlled via DMX or the built-in timer controller.

The low-lying fog can be spread evenly over large distances, thanks to the DNG-200””s brawny, yet quiet, fan. Because the fan operates in virtual silence, the unit is ideal for theatrical and studio applications where a minimal noise level is required. Another convenient feature is the DNG-200””s large-capacity 10-liter tank, which will keep the fog flowing during performances and productions without interruption for refills.

Designed to be portable for touring applications, the DNG-200 sits on wheels and includes integrated handles for convenient transport. Its solid, sturdy metal case was built to withstand the rigors of the road, protecting the machine from damage, for years of productive use — and a great value.

Users of the DNG-200 will save on energy costs, too. The fogger includes a highly efficient power control system, along with superior ventilation, which keep it operating at the lowest possible temperature to reduce power consumption and lower electric bills.

The DNG-200 features both 120V and 220V operation. This makes it more versatile, allowing it to be used for non-theatrical performances where 220 voltage isn””t accessible. The unit””s fluid consumption rate is one liter per 9 minutes at 100% output at AC100V-120V/50-Hz-60Hz operation, and one liter per 5 minutes at 100% output AC220V-240V/50Hz-60Hz. Elation X-Fog Ice is recommended for use with the DNG-200.

A D-20 Remote Control and 3M Fog Conducting Hose come included with the DNG-200. The fogger measures 30.7″L x 24″W x 27″H and weighs 265 lbs. The MSRP of the Antari DNG-200 Low Fog Generator is $10,999.95.
