G’Day from Australia, im planning a trip to mblv 09 , i know you have your hands full with chicagoland at the momment. but im coming all that way from melbourne i dont just want to be a spectator, i want to participate in any way i can. a couple of suggestions i have is maybe a guest speaking spot sort of a Q&A , i m sure djs in america are very interested in how we do it down here. also i thought i could do a guest dj set at one of the official parties and showcase some aussie dance artists. If you want to know more about me im on youtube.

    HI Dan,
Is it possible to host this great event at another hotel in 2010? I enjoyed the show this past year. Though the ballroom we were in- the sound system was not even close to sound production quality, the seats were uncomfortable, the video presentations were hard to see, the rooms were unsatisfactory. I would be wiiling to pay more to come to the show since it was my first time attending a MBLV show. Your magazine and writers are great. How about having the event at a hotel that’s as classy as your magazine. Your clients will pay more for setting and sound systems that were built today. 1970’s sound systems make great presenter’s less attractive. We are in the business of quality sound and talent. Anything you can do to enhance the quality of your show will attract and have a greater impact on the success that Mobile Beat is already possessing in new and existing entertainers. Thank you for your time.

Please understand that because of the size of our show we aren’t able to get into any of the larger convention halls. Alot of DJs aren’t willing to even pay what we are charging now and what the hotels are charging thus we can’t get into a larger better facility. The Riviera is a great place and since it was our freshman year at the facility there were some issues that have already been fixed that you experienced.

Come back again in 2009 and you’ll see a dramatic improvement!
