How To Update Your Email Settings


You have landed on this page because we recently sent you an email regarding upgrades to our email service. These upgrades require you to change some settings in your email program. Three of the most exciting things we are excited to now offer is secure email transport, unlimited email storage, and IMAP access. IMAP access is the ability to access your email from multiple devices (Computers, Phones, Tablets, etc) and have changes made one device reflected instantly on other devices. This is the email we need today; Most of us have multiple devices we would like to be able to read our email on. POP access is still available but only downloads your mail from one device then deletes it from the server.

When changes are made to how email is handled on our side it can take up to 48 hours for the changes to reflect worldwide. For this reason we asked you for a forwarding email address to send email from our previous provider while the change over is taking place.

If you would rather us setup a permanent forward instead of a separate mailbox, we can do so with no problem. Just keep in mind that when you setup a forward you lose the ability to send mail from said address.

Here is how to setup your new mailbox:

Create a new account in your email client with the servers listed below. Choose either IMAP or POP/POP3 as defined above.

With both IMAP and POP you have the option of using the standard or secure servers. Both options are listed below. For most people standard is plenty sufficient. Secure simply means mail is transported between you and the server via SSL like when you shop or visit your bank online. If you use the standard server replace mail.YOURDOMAIN.com with your domain name.

For those of you that utilize webmail, it will be up and running with in 24 hours after the switch over at webmail.YOURDOMAIN.com.

The last step is to delete your old account in your email program.
