Hands-on sessions by Blend | The DJ Institute to help MBLV21 attendees build DJ chops
LAS VEGAS, NV: After the unprecedented success of the Mix Skills Masterclass, presented by The Scratch DJ Academy at MBLV20 last March, Mobile Beat Las Vegas is bringing back high-quality hands-on educational opportunities, at no additional charge to MBLV21 attendees, in March 2017.
Presented by Las Vegas-based Blend | The DJ Institute (www.blendvegas.net), the sessions for 2017 will provide hours of education by expert DJs on actual DJ setups. Classes will cover, among other things, basic mix techniques and philosophies, video DJing, and scratch mixing.
The aim is to again provide top-notch instruction for attendees interested in building better mixing and performance technique–whether they are accomplished MCs wanting to raise their mixing game, new DJs looking to amplify their skillsets, or tech-savvy club or scratch jocks looking for a fuller MBLV experience.

“Last year’s classes were a big part of MBLV20’s runaway success,” says Mobile Beat President and Show Producer Ryan Burger, “so bringing them back was a no-brainer. After a few of our Mobile Beat staffers benefitted from Blend courses themselves, we found a great new educational partner for MBLV, based right in Las Vegas.”
The scheduled sessions, which are available at no additional charge TO FULL PASS HOLDERS ONLY will be offered on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning (March 14th through 16th, 2017) of MBLV21. These will be two-hour sessions and are first-come, first-served. Aspecial session limited to Platinum Package holders (http://www.mobilebeatlasvegas.com/featuring/platinum-experience-mblv21-edition/)
will be held at another time. Additionally, the Blend Classroom will be open when the exhibit floor and demo rooms are open for “spur of the moment” instructional sessions.
Mix Skills Masterclass sessions will NOT overlap with keynote presentations by Paul Oakenfold or Jeffrey Gitomer.
The sessions will be powered by top-notch gear, including some of the latest controllers and mixers from Pioneer DJ (www.pioneerdj.com), as well as other hardware sponsors to be announced, making the technical aspect of MBLV21’s Mix Skills Masterclasses second-to-none.
