RACINE, WI – With thousands of videos and tens of thousands of subscribers worldwide, YouTube DJs are coming together in Wisconsin for the 3rd year running to present a face-to-face DJ convention and workshop.
As professional disc jockeys, they spin the tunes that keep floors filled. As DJ tutors and mentors, they’re the voices of experience for thousands of working DJs and hopeful “jocks” all over the world. And, in keeping with their tutoring and networking philosophy, this very special event will be free of charge to all who attend!
YouTube DJs Live – Midwest, will be held on Sunday, April 11th and Monday April 12th at Buckets Pub, located at 2031 Lathrop Avenue in Racine. The event will feature hands-on tutorials using some of the hottest pro DJ gear, including items to buy and demo, supplied by Ben Stowe from NLfx Professional. Attendees will also get a chance to meet Brian Redd and other industry members.
Participants will be able to work with a variety of pro equipment, talk shop with their peers and mentors, and benefit from the free seminars provided. Topics will include:
Building a better relationship with brides
Swap meet of equipment – attendees are encouraged to bring items for exchange
“This is a chance for DJs to get together, swap ideas and learn from each other,” said organizer Ron Helmick. In addition to the “classroom” type element, there is also the chance to relax and show off their skills as the YouTube DJs take over a Milwaukee club on Sunday evening.
