All right. DJ tips in under a minute. We’re talking about Facebook and comments you make in various public groups. There are a lot of groups, some are closed, some are secret, but there are a lot of public groups that we as DJs tend to be members of. Some of them make it out to the general public.
A DJ commented over the weekend that one of his clients had seen an unflattering post he put up that had some political overtones and some other things and she wasn’t happy about it. So are you making comments on Facebook groups or pages or even on your own page that you would let your clients see? I am. I’m good with it, I’m not worried about it, but I certainly have seen DJs and other professionals put up comments laced with swears and flames and other comments that you know what, if a bride or groom or client saw that, they may decide not to hire them or to fire them.
So be careful on Facebook. What you put up, people can find if they search for it on Google and other engines. So keep it clean on Facebook, in under a minute.
