DJ Tips In Under A Minute: Trailing Echo on the DJM-900 with Dub Echo

All right. Your color effects. Today I’m going to show you a thing called ducking echo, which is easy to do if you use Dub Echo. What you do is turn about 9:00 o’clock, you’re going to engage the effect and then drop the volume on the channel and you’re going to get a tail echo. So really cool effect to do. Again, set up about 9:00 o’clock, have everything set, engage it and kill the channel volume, come back up, kill the effect and boom, you’re right back in it. Really cool way to get that kind of channeling echo, because if you do it on the regular [inaudible], you won’t get it.
