All right. DJ tips in under a minute, it’s about a book this time and the book is Last Night a DJ Saved My Life: The History of the Disk Jockey. This is a very cool book. Brian S. Redd turned me onto this, had not read it and now I have and it’s really cool. It goes over the history of DJing starting back in the day back in Germany in the discotechs underground and the effects that DJs had on music, and dancing, and bands, and everything going on in America on the radio and it’s just really cool. It gives you a sense of history for the job you do. Quick read, not too bad, but really lays out a lot of answers for questions that you may or may not have had at some point about what it is you do. So if you get a chance, Bill Brewster and Frank Broughton, I believe, Last Night a DJ Saved My Life: The History of the Disk Jockey, in under a minute.
