Blizzard to Distribute LumiDesk™ LDTouch Ultimate with New LUCID™ DMX Lighting Control Software

Waukesha, WI. – Blizzard Lighting is proud to announce that they are now the exclusive US distributor of the LDTouch Ultimate™ stand-alone, wall mounted DMX controller by LumiDesk™. Blizzard is also introducing a new lighting control software product: Lucid™ DMX, which will also come packaged with the LDTouch Ultimate™.

The LDTouch Ultimate™ is LumiDesk’s most popular and powerful wall mounted DMX control interface to date. It features 2 DMX universes (1024 channels), multi-zone memory, a sleek full-color LCD screen, and Ethernet connectivity to allow remote control functionality.

Users have independent control of up to 5 areas with the LDTouch Ultimate’s easy to use, touch sensitive buttons and graphic color display. Trigger sequences with RS232, dry contact ports, and date/time scheduling are all included. You can even gain full control using your iOS, or Android Smartphone or Tablet, via one of the 3 compatible free apps.

The unit is delivered with a USB to mini-USB cable and phoenix connector. Software and support files are downloadable free from the Blizzard Lighting (http://www.blizzardlighting.com) website. Optional accessories that are available through Blizzard Lighting dealers include a 5VDC power adaptor and a break-out PCB for extending DMX and power lines remotely over standard CAT5 cable.

The LDTouch Ultimate™ wall mount measures 4.2 x5.75 inches (106x146mm), and the Lucid™ DMX lighting control software from Blizzard is fully compatible with Windows XP, VISTA, and Windows 7 (32/64-bit.)

Lucid™ DMX control hardware interfaces are also available as convenient portable USB-DMX devices, and they come in two varieties. The Lucid™ 180 IQ Interface unlocks the full potential of the software and features 3 configurable DMX IN/OUT universes (1x 3-pin XLR, and 1x 5-pin XLR), and MiniSD multi-zone stand-alone memory. Lucid™ 140 IQ is a cost-effective choice while retaining most of the features of 180 IQ. It features 1 DMX out universe (512 channels), and 1 DMX IN/OUT universe.

From simple movements to stunning effects, or even playing video on an RGB matrix; creating advanced effects with Lucid™ DMX control software is a breeze.

Retail prices for these products start out with the LDTouch Ultimate™ at $1,299.99, the Lucid™ 180 IQ USB interface at $899.99, and finally the Lucid™ 140 IQ USB interface at $499.99.
